The Shape WLB brand was launched by industry professionals passionate about creating the tools to make better quality film and photography. They merged their knowledge and craftsmanship to create a line of accessories that provide exceptional control and results for any shooting style.
Founders Mylène and Charles quickly gained a strong reputation in the industry with their signature quick-release feature. Since 2007, our brand has become an undeniable asset for filmmakers and studios worldwide.
Shaped with Love
The couple and co-founders, Mylène Girard and Charles Vallières, worked in the film industry for over 15 years before launching their business. Mylène was an assistant camera operator on sets, and Charles was running art departments for set building and special effects for various film studios.
Both joined forces to build the brand which so many creators love today.
